KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a myriad of client accounts to deliver a variety of projects.
- Act as the primary contact for all day-to-day aspects of the key accounts.
- Proactively bring forth business-building ideas, strategies, and solutions for clients.
- Establish relationships with senior client management and executive teams. Develop strong client relationships with some of the region’s biggest developers, consultants, and contractors.
- Grow existing and new accounts: Identify new opportunities, convert new business, and secure repeat business.
- Respond to RFQs and develop compliant technical and commercial proposals.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations internally and externally to clients representing the Lylux brand and leadership.
- Develop Key account management frameworks for each key client account, ensure reviewed and approved and update them on a quarterly basis.
- Commercial acumen: ability to manage a BOQ and mark-ups, ensuring client accounts are managed securing the minimum required profit percentage and margins.
- Lead the interdisciplinary project teams, coordinating, liaising, and working closely with consultant’s and client representatives to oversee the project delivery from start to end.
- Resource planning with appropriate data and information noting the highest probability projects likely to secure and the skillsets needed to deliver the same.
- Source, manage and ethically deal with third party suppliers building a strong, dependable, and reliable supply chain.
- Stakeholder mapping and management: Identify key decision makers and other budget holders.
- Globalise the account: working with local clients on global projects or working with global counterparts.
- Be consultative to cross-sell other new emerging services within Lylux Group.
- Build an account revenue forecast and deliver quarterly progress reports.
- Mentor & manage junior account team members. Networking and Lunch & Learns.
KEY SKILLS

- Excellent English communication skills. Having Arabic language skills as well is an advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years of key account management experience in the UAE / KSA lighting industry.
- Expansive professional network within the lighting & construction industries (UAE / KSA).
- Proven, consistent and result driven sales track record.
- Sound proficiency in all basic computer skills and software ‘s such as Microsoft office suite.
- UAE / KSA Driving License.
- Previous experience in global large account management strategies is an advantage such as the Miller-Heiman Large Account Management Process (LAMP), Spin Selling model and any other key account management frameworks.
SALES TARGETS
- Minimum projects sales target of 8,000,000 AED (2024).*
- Minimum quarterly sales target of 2,000,000 AED (2024).*
- *(Values are estimates for 2024 – Reviewed Annually).
RENUMERATION PACKAGE
- High probability for total revenue earned i.e. salary + commissions to exceed AED 600,000 per annum.
- Welcome alternative high value sales commission schemes or suggestions.
- All other standard benefits (annual leave, premium medical insurance, 12-month service bonus).
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales to forward growth and attain profits
- Direct sales in systems & products relevant to LED lighting, lighting control and energy management solutions
- Building long-term & strategic relationships with clients
- Technical engagement with clients, analysis of client technical requirements and formulation of solutions
- Ability to perceive client preferences and adapt solutions accordingly
- Provision of technical knowledge and operational guidance to clients
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lylux brand products (After Training) / systems & ability to source suitable 3rd party products
- Design/Estimation/Quotation/Lux Calculations
Key Skills & Qualities:
- Minimum of 3 years in technical sales (background in lighting is ESSENTIAL)
- Established network of contacts and connections with the UAE and/or KSA
- Capable of technical site walkthroughs
- Ability to work independently and maintain self-sufficiency, but capable of coordinating with our team if/when required
- Confident, tactful, honest, technically-oriented, result-oriented, well-presented
- Fluent Verbal & Written communication skills in English
