Lylux Project - Rugby Council – Town Hall
Rugby Council – Town Hall
Location: Rugby, UK. | Client: Rugby Council
As part of their Carbon Management Plan, Rugby Council aimed to reduce their energy consumption across their facilities. Lylux we brought in to renovate the lighting systems within the town hall building.
Here we designed, supplied, installed and commissioned all new lighting systems including emergency lighting systems. To meet all the British regulations, standards and Rugby’s local specification codes, we undertook an in-depth, room-by-room survey of all lighting systems within the entire site.
The resulting report detailed current energy consumption and prospective savings that could be made after switching to the proposed Lylux lighting systems. Constant communication with the Rugby Council team allowed us to ensure all standards were met and that the solution remained aesthetically pleasing.
Installation was conducted outside of normal office hours to minimize disruption to their normal operations.
Energy operational costs were reduced by 75% in total with the ROI period being 36 months.
